GLOW: 70 mg ($75)

Overview

GLOW-70 mg is an informal market name for a three-component blend combining 50 mg of the copper peptide GHK-Cu with the WOLVERINE blend that contains 10 mg of BPC-157 and 10 mg of TB-500. The designation is not standardized and composition varies by supplier.

In plain terms

The organizing idea behind this combination is connective tissue and skin. GHK-Cu supplies the largest share of the total mass and is the component most associated with research related to collagen production and other potential benefits for skin; the other two compounds are the same tissue-repair peptides found in “WOLVERINE”.

GHK-Cu is a three-amino-acid peptide bound to a copper ion, occurring naturally in human plasma at concentrations that decline with age. In cell culture it influences genes governing collagen production and tissue remodeling — unusually broadly, with expression profiling reporting changes across roughly a third of assayed human genes — and it additionally functions as a carrier that holds copper securely, useful biologically since free copper ions are chemically reactive. As with all blends in this category, the combination itself has not been characterized in published research; only the individual constituents have. For more in-depth information about GHK-Cu, see GHK-Cu: 50 mg.

Technical description

GHK-Cu is the copper(II) complex of glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine (MW 401.9 for the complex), coordinating Cu2+ via the histidine imidazole nitrogen and N-terminal amine. Reported activity includes stimulation of collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis in fibroblasts, modulation of metalloproteinase and TIMP expression, and copper-dependent antioxidant behavior.

BPC-157 (pentadecapeptide, MW 1419.5) has no conclusively identified receptor; reported activity is attributed to VEGFR2–Akt–eNOS signaling. TB-500, a thymosin β4 actin-binding domain fragment, is reported to influence G-actin sequestration, cell migration, and angiogenesis. Interaction between constituents, including any effect of the copper complex on the stability of the co-formulated peptides, has not been characterized in published literature.

Blend composition must be confirmed. This name is an informal designation used in the research-chemical market rather than a standardized formulation, and stated composition varies between suppliers. The constituents described below reflect the most commonly cited formulation. Replace this section with your own verified composition and per-component masses, taken from your certificate of analysis, before publishing.

Regulatory status

No constituent is an FDA-approved drug for any therapeutic indication. GHK-Cu is used as a cosmetic ingredient in topical formulations. BPC-157 was placed in Category 2 of the FDA's bulk drug substances review in 2023, and both BPC-157 and TB-500 are prohibited by the World Anti-Doping Agency. No combination product containing these substances holds marketing authorization in any jurisdiction. Material supplied for laboratory research is not manufactured, tested, or released under pharmaceutical or cosmetic-grade standards.
